Vincent Lauzer will direct the practice groups Recorder for Fun and Harmonia on Sunday, April 28 at the École de musique Vincent d'Indy. Coffee and a light snack will be served at 11 and music will begin at 11:30. The small groups Vents du Printemps will open the concert. The concert is free and open to the public!

Vincent Lauzer, member of the recorder quartet Flûte Alors! and recorder soloist, will lead the next sightreading session, on Thursday, April 25 at 7 PM at the École de musique Vincent d'Indy in room 450. All players at the Intermediate II (Harmonia) or higher level are welcome. The price is $15 for non-members, and members are free.
Because of the snow storm, the École de Musique Vincent d'Indy is closed. The practices scheduled for this evening (Discover the Recorder, Harmonia, and Flute en Suite) have been cancelled. They will be rescheduled later or reimbursed.
Gilles Plante, directeur de Flûte en suite et de l'Ensemble Claude-Gervaise, will direct this year's technical workshop on January 31. The technical workshop, which only made its first appearance on the MRS calendar last year, allows participants to work on technical aspects of their playing. This year, Gilles has chosen one of his favourite subjects, articulation. The workshop will take place this Thursday at 7 PM in room 450 at the École de Musique Vincent d'Indy. It costs $15 for nonmembers and is free for members.
The first sightreading of 2019 will take place on Thursday, January 17 at 7 PM with Francis Colpron! It will be in room 450 at the EMVI.
