Note: it is mandatory to have the approval of the MRS before showing up for a free trial.

 

The ensembles are formed at the beginning of the season, which runs from September to June. However, it is possible to join an ensemble any time during the year, following a trial.

You can participate to an ensemble practice for free to see if the format and level are appropriate for you. At the trial, you can discuss with the musical director of the group and the group representative. To take advantage of a free trial, send an email to info@fluteabecmtl.ca

Attention: For the Discover the Recorder ensemble, it is not possible to join this group after November 1st (every year). This group is for absolute beginners. Adding a new member mid-season causes too much of a disturbance to the progression of the group. To respect the members of the group and the musical diretor, it is not allowed to join this group during the season. Sign up for the newsletter now to receive a notification when the registration period opens for the next season. The registration period is in August every year.

 

When you come to a practice or a sight-reading evening, don’t forget:

• Your recorders
• Your music stand
• A pencil
• Some paper (to take notes)
