Members
Every member must pay the entire membership fees once per season which include access to MRS activities reserved for members, and contribute to the operating costs of the MRS.
REGISTRATION PERIOD AND DELAYS
The registration period is from August 1 to August 31 every year. Late fees are applied to registration forms sent after September 1 for returning members. These fees do not apply for new registrations mid-season. This measure is in place to avoid additional administrative tasks caused by late payments from returning members who participate in the practices from the beginning of the year.
Cost for ensemble practices
The cost for joining an ensemble covers all the practices for the season and the Sons & Brioches concert of the ensemble. Schedules can occasionally change and if a change is necessary, all registered members of a group will be consulted.
Registering mid-season
When registering during the season, costs for participating to an ensemble are calculated proportionally to the number of practices left. For example, if there are 9 practices left out of a total of 18 practices, you will pay 50% of the group fees (and 100% of the membership fees).
participating in more than one ensemble
It is possible to sign up for more than one ensemble. It is the responsibility of the member to make sure that the practice schedules are compatible. A discount will be given if the registration for the second ensemble is done at the beginning of the season. If the registration for the second group is done mid-season, the discount is not applicable and the group fees are calculated proportionally for the remaining practices.
