The Swinging Recorder

You are invited to participate to a virtual activtiy, The Swinging Recorder!

A workshop to familiarize with the jazz recorder repertoire.  The program features an introduction to swinging eighth notes and to jazz accents, a short blues jam session, and a reading of jazz duets written by Brian Bonsor.  Scores will be sent in advance to allow everyone to prepare for the event.

Musicians at intermediate (e.g., Harmonia) and above.  Need to play soprano and alto, and to be comfortable with 2-alteration key signatures.

Place: Zoom, link will be sent to enrolled participants the day before the event
