The Renaissance in Dance and Music - don't miss this special opportunity! With Gilles Plante and Anne-Marie Gardette
During the program, participants have the option of dancing and/or playing Renaissance ballroom dances (the pavane, the gaillard, and various bransles) and contradances. In addition, the teachers will give a short demonstration of other period dances. This activity is open to members and non-members of the MRS.
When: Friday, April 13, 2018, from 7:00 P.M. to 9:45 P.M.
Where: École de musique Vincent d’Indy, room 236
Cost: Payable by check or cash on the day of the event: Signup on or before March 19: $25; On or after March 20: $30
Be sure to register soon! The activity will be cancelled if fewer than 20 people have signed up before April 2, 2018. If the activity is cancelled, those who have signed up will be notified. Score will be available on March 15. More information to follow.
You will need: your recorders, a music stand, a pencil and comfortable shoes.
