Harmony Basics
You are invited to participate to a virtual activity in two parts!
This is a theory course sprinkled with musical examples. Participants will be given theory exercises to do between the two sessions.
The program:
- Key signatures, scales, keys
- Determining a piece of music’s key
- Finding and identifying modulations
- Organising one’s rehearsal session based on the pieces being played (and their key!)
Suited for: Musicians who wish to know – or know more – about the basics of harmony and are at beginner/intermediate level in the study of music theory. People from all groups are welcome to join, of course!

Place: Zoom, link will be sent to enrolled participants the day before the event
