PRESENTATION (back to quick links)
The MRS offers an Interpretation workshop in the context of its sight-readings. The level of the workshop is intentionally more advanced than the usual sight-readings. The works on the program are available in advance so that participants can practice for the activity. Each participant chooses the voice they wish to play for each piece.
This year's workshop will take place on Thursday, March 19, at 7 p.m. under the direction of Francis Colpron.
There are 5 pieces on the program:
- A child is born, Thad Jones
- Les oiseaux, Mozart
- The Carman's Whistle, Byrd
- Menuets Serenade in D op 11, Brahms
- Barriera, Negri
