What's new in 2016-2017?

A number of changes are planned for the 2016-2017 season. These changes were presented at the annual General Assembly which took place on June 2, 2016. These changes will allow the MRS to better meet the needs of the members and to offer quality activities. Here is an overview of the changes:
- All the MRS activities are moving the l’Ecole de musique Vincent d’Indy.
- A new group called Harmonia will see the light of day. This group will be directed by Caroline Tremblay.
- Recorder for Fun will be directed by Vincent Lauzer.
- A fifth Sons & Brioches concert is also added to the program so Harmonia can give a concert.
- One sight-reading is also added. It will be directed by Alexa Raine-Wright.
- A Welcome Cocktail is organized for August 31st. Tours of the new practice locations will be given and musical directors will present the music they have in store for us for the 2016-2017 season.
- The start time for activities is moved by 15 minutes for most activities. Check the schedule in the calendar.
